gewahr (German): aware of something, having become aware of it, as in einer Sache gewahr werden.

What we do

Point-in-time testing

Our research uses historical S&P 500 membership, including former constituents, to reduce survivorship bias. Data limitations still matter.

Costs and luck, counted

Modeled costs and multiple-testing checks help question results that may be explained by luck. Historical tests cannot establish future performance.

Bring, build or match

We are developing ways to bring your own rules, build strategies from indicators, and explore research that fits your goals. These workflows are still in development.

For brokers and investors

The private beta is designed to help brokers and individual investors inspect evidence and record paper-only research, before considering real-world decisions.

Gewahr is in a private research beta. It provides research and historical analysis only, with simulated paper results and no real-money orders. It is not investment advice, does not execute trades, and past results do not guarantee future returns.
